Gosh have I been gone for a while! Well now I am back and I will try to stay consistent.

These photos feel so natural and beautiful and the golden-brown hues make them warm.

Wonders of Summer

One weeks left until school begins and I am trying to soak up all the wonderful pleasures of summer. Sun drenched fields and blooming wildflowers, abundant vegetable gardens and bunnies trying to get at them.

During summer I put on whatever is comfortable, perhaps a dress, and don't fuss much about my looks because it's about having fun. You lounge around with a good book because you want to and feel the warm breeze around you.

Summer is about having a good time, relaxing and catching up and taking in all the wonders of the world. In the summer you can embrace your free time and do everything possible or sit back and watch the world go by. I think I enjoy the latter!

I was just watching The September Issue and saw how Vogue was able to create this shot. If they had not been shooting the video this photos would not have happened. The camera guy is the one who was filming the movie.

J.Crew in the Desert

Looking chic in the desert has been made much easier by J.Crew! I am thrilled by the way they combined cool glam in a dusty & hot place. The color of the rocks is striking next to the olive hued clothes. Well done (again!) J.Crew!

Cool Blues & Browns

Looking out the windows of my house I see a vibrant green landscape and mountains, fields full of wildflowers, piercing blue sky and wisps of frothy clouds. This set of images is no less than the exact opposite of all that. In these photos you see flat land, gray sky, barren fields and leafless trees. Though not directly stated in each photo I am able to feel the crisp chill in the air and the grayness of it all. The deep-cool blues  paired with the biege of the fields and the brown of the twigs is such a calming combination. The idea of fall excites me, a time to get out your sweaters, eat hot food and play in the cornfields. If you are like me, enjoy dreaming about cool weather!

I think this photo shoot of Emma Watson by Teen Vogue is exquisite. The location (a sprawling old English country manor ) is amazing as well as the colors and the wardrobe. The jewel tones really appeal to me, especially when shown against old stone or furniture.
